Keep Your Home: Apply for President Obama's Loan Modification Program

These events provide assistance to homeowners who are struggling with their mortgage payments. At these events, homeowners will be able to meet one-on-one with a volunteer (including attorneys and housing counselors) who will determine if the homeowner is eligible for the federal Home Affordable Modification Program announced by President Obama. If the homeowner appears to be eligible for the program and has brought all necessary documentation, the volunteer will assist in the completion and submission of the application for a loan modification to the mortgage servicer.
You may be eligible for a loan modification if you:
✓ Are behind on your mortgage or at risk of foreclosure
✓ Are an owner–occupant of a 1 to 4 unit property
✓ Have a loan that was originated before Jan. 1, 2009
✓ Have income that will support monthly mortgage payments
All borrowers on the loan MUST be present and should bring copies of these documents:

• Two most recent bank statements
• Real estate tax bill
• Most recent utility bill
